About reports on Advert response

Perform Zone provides a suite of advertisement reports within the Reports module.
These charts are accessible in the category ‘Advertisements’ – they give you an idea of the response to adverts you have put up, including the source that the responses have some from (we are talking about job applications here).

In summary these charts are:

  • New Applications By Source
  • Shortlisted Applications By Source
  • CV Sent Applications By Source
  • Interviewed Applications By Source
  • Placed Applications By Source
  • Applications By Stage Completed
  • Applications By Stage Completed Cumulative
  • Placed Applications By Stage Completed
  • Placed Applications By Stage Completed Cumulative

Moving Candidates through stages

When an application is moved from one stage to the next (for example from the ‘Applied’ list to the ‘Shortlist’ list) a note is recorded in the database about when this happened. These charts then search those notes to get their source numbers. Therefore, ‘CV sent’ applications refers to the amount of applications moved to the ‘CV sent’ column – it doesn’t measure the amount of CV’s actually sent to employers. It is assumed that the recruiter will send the CV when they move the applicant.

For example: ‘Shortlisted Applications by Source’ counts the amount of applications moved to the shortlist stage in the chosen time period, breaking them up by the recorded source of the application. These charts are useful when determining the effectiveness of advertising.

Candidate Count

If a candidate gets 2 jobs in anytime period, especially if they are a contractor, the application count will be 2, but will only be classed as 1 candidate.

About Candidate Reports
The candidate report is a search of candidates which indicates how many candidates have been placed, based on what the source of the candidate is.
It will make no difference if the candidate is placed 1 or 10 times in anytime period, the report simply indicates that the candidate has been placed.
This will always register on the report graph as 1 candidate who was placed.

About Application Reports

The application report indicates how many application have been placed, based on the source of the application – which may or may not be different to the candidate’s source.

For example: if a candidate has been placed 10 times, that means it registers as 10 – because it’s a head count of all applications, not of individual candidate’s.

1 candidate may have many applications.

The 2 reports are in fact different based on the information above.

Please note: anytime period is a reference to the graphs time period – you can of course set this to anytime you like
