How do I print out a report?
Perform Zone’s Report area provides some basic printing options.
A ‘Print Chart’ button appears under graphs.
This button prints the current chart shown onto a single page.
To get more control over your charts, there are two options:
- Copying the data to Excel and creating your own chart.
- Using a ‘Print to image’ program and altering the image or inserting it into a document.
How do I copy report data into Excel?
Microsoft Excel gives you many complex options for creating charts and doing other data manipulation. To copy the data which produced your chart to Excel, click the ‘Copy to clipboard’ button located under the chart image. Then open Microsoft Excel and select ‘paste’.
Your data will now be in an Excel spreadsheet so you can manipulate it however you want.
Using a ‘Print to image’ program
Windows has many commercial print to image programs – these create a virtual printer which writes whatever you are printing to an image file instead of a real printer. This image can then be manipulate in a graphics program, such as Microsoft Paint or Photoshop, and the final image inserted into a Word document.
There are many of these programs available, for example: SWF Printer Pro, which can print to a Jpeg, a flash file or a PDF and is freeware.
