You can search your database for a list of suitable candidates, assign them to your job and send out an email template that merges the job details and advert into an email job alert.
Things to be aware of…
- Your search results need to be an accurate match or else you risk annoying candidates with job alerts that are not relevant to them.
- You need to provide instructions in your email on how the candidate can unsubscribe.
- You can get reports on the how candidates are applying for jobs, including those coming from your job alerts.
- The Australian Spam ACT allow you to job alert email candidates that have entered your database.
