Opting in allows your candidate or contact to be included in your bulk email marketing.
This includes newsletters, job alerts and other marketing material you may send.
Candidates from within the Applied, Shortlist, CV Sent, Interview or Placed lists will still receive bulk emails regardless of their opt in status.
This ensures that they get updates on the application.
You can search to see which contacts are opted in by using the Opted in drop down in Contacts search.
For candidates, you will need to extract them to a CSV file, and sort by the Opt In status column.
You can make a bulk change to your candidates and contacts opt in status by exporting your search results list to a csv file, make the changes to opt in status and re-import the updated file.
You can update a candidate’s or contact’s subscriptions by either opening up their profile, or by using the Advanced Outlook plugin.
