About Subscription Job Alerts
A subscription Job Alert is an automatically generated email that is sent to candidates that have the subscribed to receive job alerts.
It is activated from within your Career Centre job board information tab.
Candidates subscribe to a job alert by choosing the job’s Field, Specialisation, State and Job type they would like to hear about.
When candidates apply via one of your adverts, they are automatically subscribed in to receive job alerts that match you’re job’s Career Centre Field and specialisations.
You can edit a candidate’s subscription from within the Candidates profile.
The Career Centre API has options to allow the candidate to subscribe / unsubscribe to other job alerts.
Candidates opted out from Bulk Mailing will not get the subscription job alert email.
The job alert template email is editable from within your Settings > Templates area.
The default job alert that is sent includes all the jobs currently open that match the candidate’s subscriptions. The most recent job is advertised on the top of the list.
You can edit the Job Alert template yourself.
We can also set the template up how you would like.

The cost is per hour as per your contract. Simple templates usually take 30 minutes – 1 hour. We will quote prior to starting.
Things to be aware of…
You can customise your website to allow candidates to update their job alert subscriptions themselves.
You can get reports on the how candidates are applying for jobs, including those coming from your job alerts.
The Australian Spam ACT allow you to job alert email candidates that have entered your database.
