Using the FTP back up facility
The set up cost for the FTP facility is $370.
There are no additional charges.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request the facility to be set up.
It usually takes one working day to set up.
Note: all outstanding payments need to be paid before the facility can be set up.
Once set up, you will need to run a script to package up your data into CSV files and Zip up your attachments.
This script is best scheduled to run overnight, allowing you to extract your data the next day.
You’ll need to set the schedule before 7pm as it runs at 7pm.
To run the FTP Back up script,
- Go to SETTINGS and select the MANAGE tab
- Check to see that you have greater than 50% disc space free. If you don’t, contact Perform Zone to request more memory.
- Schedule your backup by choosing the drop down options and pressing the SCHEDULE BACKUP button.
- The backup script will take a while. Once completed, your requested files will appear listed in this screen. Select the file and press DOWNLOAD SELECTED FILE.
About the back-up data
The back-up script creates a series of ZIP files containing resumes and spreadsheets.
The date created for these files is based on the UTC time zone.
As the files are created and compressed they are added into the file download list.
The resumes in the Zip files are given the id number of the candidate.
